Monisha has a Masters in Community Resource Management and Extension from India and a Masters in Public Policy from National University Singapore. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Public Health from La Trobe University. She has over 15 years’ experience in project management and implementing research and evaluation studies in India, Kenya, Yemen and Australia. She is passionate about working on women’s health and empowerment and has worked on sexual and reproductive health, maternal health, adolescent health, HIV/AIDS and sustainable livelihood programs. At MCWH, she is working on two research projects – multicultural and settlement services supporting women experiencing violence and a participatory action research project with faith communities supporting healthy family relationships.
