WRAP # 67: Building a healthy future for migrant women, bilingual health education bears fruit and Then and Now with Bic Gresty

At the halfway point of our 40th year, the MCWH events and celebrations calendar is really warming up, which is much needed this time of year!

We’ve been taking every opportunity to share health messages with women, build on our current projects and advocate for our communities’ health and all the while we’ve been planning a party!

So it’s a great time to announce that Costa has agreed to be our major sponsor for our special MCWH Gala event on 25th October (save the date!)

We also just held an important and exciting forum about the state and future of migrant women in Victoria, facilitated by the wonderful Santilla Chingaipe.

So this issue we are giving a short and sharp run down of the key takeaways from the forum, we are talking about why we value our partnership with Costa so much and introducing our WRAP readers to our newest video about bilingual health education (please watch it!). And to cap it off, we have a perfect ‘Then and Now’ from Bic Gresty, a woman that we deeply admire at MCWH, and who features briefly in our new video.

Until next time,
The WRAP Team
