As Australia prepares to start rolling out its COVID-19 vaccination program next month, health experts say capturing cultural and linguistic diversity data from those receiving the jab will be crucial in ensuring it reaches all corners of Australian society.

The information could be used to see which communities need more information or support in making their decision about getting vaccinated.

And they say getting this process right could mean improved health equity beyond the pandemic.
