Your donation helps create healthier, safer and more equitable futures for migrant and refugee women and gender diverse people.
For nearly five decades, MCWH has been a trusted voice for health equity and social justice. We provide in-language health education, advocate for systemic change, prevent gender-based violence, and support community leadership across Australia. Your support helps sustain and grow this work, ensuring communities continue to have access to trusted information, resources and opportunities for change. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Responsive programs and projects

How your donation is used
We are operating in an increasingly restricted funding environment. Traditional funding is smaller, more competitive, and often short-term or tied to specific projects.
This means vital work can stop when funding ends, even when community need continues.
It also limits our ability to respond quickly to emerging issues or invest in new initiatives where support is urgently needed. When funding ends, organisations can lose skilled staff, trusted community relationships, and years of knowledge and expertise, putting hard-won progress and momentum at risk.
Flexible, untied donations allow us to stay responsive, independent, and community-led.
All donations are pooled and not allocated to specific projects. This ensures fairness, equity and organisational sustainability.
Your donation may support:
- Program delivery costs
- Translation and multilingual resources
- Communications and community engagement
- Administration and operations
- Future fundraising to sustain our work
