Multilingual Resource Program
The Multilingual Resource Program collects, shares and develops multilingual health resources for migrant and refugee people in Australia.
Our health information is based on facts, easy to understand and free.
Our Multicultural Health Education Resource Officers (MHEROs) keep our collection of multilingual health resources up to date. MHEROs review new information and resources, help people with information requests, and support health educators to deliver education sessions.
We also develop new multilingual resources based on community need. Click the language links to see some recent MCWH resources in other languages or read on to learn about our Multilingual Resource Portal.
Multilingual Resource Portal
The Multilingual Resource Portal is a safe online platform for:
- MCWH staff,
- Bilingual Health Educators, and
- MCWH project partners.
The Portal contains more than 1,700 in-language resources, including fact sheets, videos, and health education session delivery tools. All resources are high-quality, evidence-based and regularly updated. We also develop new resources based on community needs.
For more information about the Portal, please contact our Multilingual Health Education Resource Officers (MHEROs), Shana shana@mcwh.com.au or Trishula trishula@mcwh.com.au.
