Ximena is a multidisciplinary graphic designer with experience working and studying across Peru, Australia, Thailand and Germany. Late in 2017 she graduated with a Bachelor of Art and Business Design at USIL in Lima. She has since travelled around Peru and Chile, getting involved in art activism and working in her community with festivals such as Nosotras Estamos en la Calle (largest female organized festival in Peru), ACERO Chile, FITECA and Kallpay Warmi (celebration of indigenous women). Her current work focuses on using graphic design as a force for change in her community, advocating for women and LGTBQ+ health information access.
