Kathryn Aedy

Prevention of Violence Against Women (PVAW) Team Leader

Kathryn has a BA Law & Society, an MA Public Policy and draws on a decade of experience working in disability advocacy and inclusive design. Since joining MCWH in 2019, she has supported a team working on several projects across Victoria to prevent violence against migrant women. As a student of life, she enjoys taking lots of notes to share learnings with her colleagues. Her grandparents immigrated to Canada from China and from the UK after surviving war. Growing up in Canada, Kathryn developed working knowledge of French and very basic Spanish. She can’t say no to popcorn and has too many interests, including tutoring English as an Additional Language, painting and creative writing.
