Prevention is the Cure: unpacking health realities of immigrant and refugee women in Australia

MCWH-ICEPA National Symposium
28 October 2009, Melbourne

You are invited to attend 'Prevention is the Cure' a national symposium on the health realities for immigrant and refugee women in Australia. The Symposium will look at immigrant and refugee women's health from a myriad of perspectives.

Themes to be explored will include migration, reproductive and sexual health, human rights and health and the National Women's Health Policy.

Speakers: Adele Murdolo, Hurriyet Babacan, Bebe Loff and Helen Rankin. Participant feedback will contribute to the development of the National Women's Health Policy.

The Symposium is a joint Multicultural Centre for Women's Health and the Institute for Community, Ethnicity and Policy Alternatives (Victoria University) event. For more information please download our flyer, program and registration form or contact MCWH.
