MCWH is Australia’s leading organisation committed to the health and wellbeing of immigrant and refugee women. My role is about communicating that message to our stakeholders and potential stakeholders. This includes developing promotional resources such as our annual report, newsletter ‘Working Well’, and website.

In the 10 years that I have worked at MCWH my role has shifted from an information focus to one promoting our unique programs and in doing so, supporting immigrant and refugee women’s awareness and access to our organisation. It also enhances the dissemination of our key health messages, and recognition of our unique service and expertise.

My professional experience has focused on information and communication in various contexts including publications production and community health. My qualifications are: an Associate Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing (Business Stream RMIT TAFE), an Advanced Certificate in Professional Writing and Editing (Business Stream RMIT TAFE), a Graduate Diploma in Information Services (RMIT Higher Sector), and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
